The Uniqueness and Deity of Jesus Christ—God Incarnate: Number Thirty-one

I have one final point of Jesus Christ’s deity, for this will make the number 31—making this possible to be read as a daily devotion (just read a point every day for a month).

31. “For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form…” (Colossians 2:9).

Could Paul be more clear? In the Greek it literally says, “For (or that) in Him inhabits (or lives) all the fullness (or the complete, as in the complete nature) of deity (the godhead) physically (or bodily).” Or to translate it, “For in Him inhabits the entire complete nature of the godhead in physical form.” Jesus is God in human flesh. He radiates God’s glory perfectly, He is the exact duplicate of God (not that He is a second God, but that He is the exact image of the Father), He is sovereign over all (Hebrews 1:3), He is the Creator (Colossians 1:16), and He is worthy of all glory, honor, and praise (Colossians 1:18). Jesus is completely filled with Deity and is Himself Deity. Through and through, Jesus is God.
